About UsHello. My name is Ray Shaw. I was born and raised in the Blue Ridge mountains of northwest North Carolina and this area is still my home today. I’m a lifelong woodworker who first became acquainted with making things from wood at a very young age while helping my father who was a carpenter.
That was many years and a lot of saw dust ago, however I still love to work and create with wood. Today, I design and build a wide variety of furniture and cabinetry including antique reproductions and accent items. I maintain a small inventory of completed pieces in my gallery which are available for viewing or purchase. I am also happy to work with customers to design and build custom and one-of-a-kind furniture, cabinetry and accessory items to fit their needs and desires.
